I think a review by someone other than the charity should be involved. why are they not listed with http://www.charitynavigator.org or any other company that holds these organizations accountable? I won't give anymore until they show me something credible and not handed out by them without a credit not for profit auditor like http://www2.guidestar.org/. I think it is a problem that they are not there already!

I would like to know what happened to his mother. When we were at the Gathering, I think she helped "run" the place. Is she still a part of the church?
i don't know if she is now. she wasn't when i went there and Gene used to talk about how crazy she was. and then she came back and things REALLY got weird!
I was talking about the school supply give away to a few friends. One spoke up and said they knew a person who would not work the event this year. The person was asked by Gene to leave last August since they did not attend the church anymore. He said something derogatory about this person to their face.

I think Gene should be ashamed of himself. he always says 'where there is no vision, the people perish ...' but, if you read a more literal version of the verse it really meas 'when there is no fear of the lord the people cast off constraint ...'. But - I guess that when you teach The Bible like The Bible should be taught you can't raise alot of money by casting your own vision .....

Wow anyone that is a member of The gathering an at anytime see the books and where money is spent .. he money given in Tithes and offering belong to God If EVER this money is spent un justly that person answers to God .. maybe you need to look at your self before you speak out on oothers and Judge!!!! God is the only judge...
